1.菸品相關產業將自己定位為菸害防制的立法合作夥伴和利益相關者，將自己描繪成為了「無菸的未來」做努力，卻同時在全球推廣紙菸，並從紙菸中賺取利潤。
2.研究顯示某跨國菸草公司在2019年的大部分利潤，是透過販售電子煙給同時使用紙菸的使用者，而不是來自使用電子煙來替代紙菸的消費者[1]。
3.菸商持續地利用各種可能管道來獲取利益，卻同時裝作想用電子煙來改善吸菸人口的健康。千萬不要落入菸商的電子煙陷阱，同時使用紙菸與電子煙，對健康造成更大的危害[2]。
